Mini Jig Scenting
Tube bait injection setup for Freshwater trout fishing with Pautzkes Gel Krill for injecting mini jigs for sent
Tube Jig Bait (Mini Jig) Injection Setup

To be successful you must try new ways to fish. One trick I learned is to always use sent when ever possible when using lures or even bait.
I found that using an oral syringe to inject my tube baits (Mini jig) with gel sent baits or bait I crush and make my own cocktail works best. The oral syringe is best because it has a wider opening than a syringe with a thin needle. Gel baits or cocktails of my own are thicker than liquid baits so you need that wider opening for easy injecting of the bait into the tube bait (mini Jig).

I just reload the oral syringe by pulling off the plunger and filling the syringe bottle up. Then I insert the plunger back in to the oral syringe.

Tip; Just use a zip-lock back for a glove to help you fill the syringe bottle up if you don’t like touching heavy scented baits.
To control spillages I use a zip-lock to store the oral syringe and keep it in my top pocket and inject the bait into the tube (mini Jig) when needed in the field.

Injecting a Tube Jig ( Mini Jig)

Very simple step to injecting a oral syringe into a tube bait (mini jig) is to pull the cap off the oral syringe and slide the tube jig on to the syringe and push the plunger in till you fill the tube jig up.

Tip; with this method still use a stinger to help attract fish. Meal worms, small plastic worms work great along with injecting scents in your tube jigs (mini jigs).
