Great White caught 11-14-03 by surf fishermen thinking it was a Mako Shark at first. They took the hook out and released the Great white safely back in the surf.
Please kayak fishermen this is the reason you don't troll your catch! Never give a shark a reason to think your food! Use a dry bag or cooler to keep your catch.

Did Not want to give area of the catch, so people would not try to catch them and kill them!!!!!!!!!
The picture is real!
They did a great job getting it back in the water once they new it was a Great White.
Remember they had to pick that shark up and put it back in water to set it free.
They also took the time to bring it back to life in the surf zone.
They did what was right once they new it was a Great White. The shark lived, They did what any fisherman would have done. Risk themselves to do what was right!
THE SHARK LIVED

I don't condone handling Great White in this manner. However they documented the catch of a Great White Shark  caught in the Surf zone by surf fishermen. My hat's off to them for following the LAW Returning it back to the ocean.
